Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 1S with built-in battery launched in India

The new gadget offers five different inflation modes.

The Chinese electronics major today announced the launch of a new Air compressor in the Indian market. The Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 1S will replace the previous Mi Portable Electric Air Compressor, which was introduced in the nation in 2020. As the name suggests the new model comes with a built-in battery that allows customers to inflate their vehicle’s tyres on the move.

Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 1S supports air pressures of up to 150 psi. The air pressure output can also be seen on an OLED display. It is said to be able to deliver 15 litres of airflow per minute. As we said before the device is an upgrade to Mi Portable Electric Air Compressor and has an airflow rate of seven litres per minute more than its predecessor. The Portable Electric Air Compressor 1S, like the previous model, includes an integrated LED light with an SOS flashing capability.

The portable air compressor is said to have a 114 percent higher airflow rate than the previous model. In addition to this, it can inflate tyres up to eight times, whereas the prior type could only inflate tyres 5.5 times. The new model is said to perform 45.4 percent better in terms of inflation.

The Portable Electric Air Compressor 1S has a built-in battery that allows customers to inflate their vehicle’s tyres without the need for an additional power source. It comes with a 14.8Wh Lithium battery. It also has a USB Type-C port. Notably, the older model offered a Micro-USB connection.

It has features such as over-inflation avoidance and five different inflation modes. Manual Mode, Bicycle Mode, Motorcycle Mode, Car Mode, and Ball Mode are the five various inflating modes offered by Xiaomi.

The air compressor also has a Pressure Maintenance Mode, which can be accessed by pressing the mode button five times while holding down the light button. Therefore allows the user to self-service their vehicle by spraying foam or water with a PA pot. The gadget also includes a storage bag, a Needle Valve Adapter, and a Presta Valve Adapter.

The Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 1S is priced at Rs 4,499 in India. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is offering the gadget for an initial price of Rs 2,799. The air compressor may be purchased in Black from the Mi.com website.
