The new conditions apply to appliances purchased from July 1, 2022.Samsung is starting to provide a twice-longer warranty for the digital inverter compressor/motor of selected types of refrigerators, washing machines and dryers.The previous ten-year warranty period is extended to 20 years for newly purchased products starting on July 1, 2022.The company has published an overview of refrigerators, washing machines and dryers covered by the extended warranty period on its website.Products equipped with this compressor/motor are highly energy-efficient, reliable and do not interfere with their operation even while sleeping.The digital inverter compressor continuously regulates the temperature in the refrigerator by changing the speed.It does not turn on and off abruptly, but works non-stop and is much quieter than classic compressors."The digital inverter compressor works on a different principle than conventional refrigerator motors and, thanks to this, significantly reduces vibrations and shocks.The engine thus wears out more slowly and is characterized by the high reliability of all its parts.It significantly saves the environment, is less energy-demanding, and customers will definitely appreciate its quiet operation," says Ondřej Valkony, product manager at Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak.How does a digital inverter refrigerator compressor work?As soon as the temperature inside the appliance changes, the compressor adjusts its speed and thus prevents fluctuations in temperature and humidity.It thus keeps the temperature in the refrigerator as close as possible to the set temperature and preserves the freshness of the food.The digital inverter compressor noticeably reduces the noise of the refrigerator to a value of 35 dB.This value places Samsung refrigerators in the above-average B category according to the new energy labels.You can find an overview of all 20-year warranty digital inverter compressor/motor refrigerator models here.More press releases >>
