MATARAM-Two Cakranegara residents with the initials S alias Epul, 52 years old and MN alias Nasib, 48 years old, were arrested by the Gunungsari Sector Police opsnal team, Wednesday (11/5).They were identified as having stolen compressors and motor vehicle washing equipment in Kekeri Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok."Their actions were caught on CCTV," said Gunungsari Police Chief Iptu Agus Eka Artha Sudjana.He explained, based on CCTV camera footage, the two were seen transporting compressors and motorized vehicle washing equipment.The police hunted them down and were arrested at their respective homes.Epul was caught in Sayang- Sayang and Fate in the Karang Kemong neighborhood."When we arrest them they admit their actions," he said.From his confession, they often wash their motorbikes in that place.The goal is to observe the situation."When the situation is quiet, they immediately act," he said.They act at night.Epul acts as a picker.Meanwhile, Fate monitors the surrounding situation."The compressor was transported using a motorcycle," said Agus.Furthermore, the stolen goods were pawned for Rp. 1 million.The money is divided in half and has been used for daily needs.They don't have regular jobs.Because of the urgency of the need so they commit theft."He said it was for living expenses.This is the first time I have committed a theft," he said.(arl/r1)
