Don't have an account?Make your registration.USA.Johnson Controls reported that it has completed construction and has commissioned a new $6.7 million screw compressor test lab at its manufacturing facility in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.At 7,000 square feet, the project is one of the largest and most sophisticated test labs in the screw compressor industry.The new lab is used to test large screw compressors that support gas compression and refrigeration applications in the oil and gas and process industries.It enables Johnson Controls to upload tests and confirm the performance of their compressors so customers can purchase the technology with confidence."We take our role in American manufacturing very seriously, and this lab really drives that point home," added Bill Jackson, president of Johnson Controls Global Products."With its impressive size and capacity, we are confident that this laboratory will soon be known as the center for screw compressor technology in North America."
